It was so nice to do this Halloween mini session after so many newborn sessions in a row. I almost forgot how I enjoy photographing children.
I always plan on taking a lot of photos of my child on Halloween before he goes out trick or treating, but I get so busy and usually fail! This mini session is a perfect chance to make sure to capture these memories before Halloween. Holiday Family Session at Pico Canyon Park in Santa Clarita, CA by Los Angeles Family Photographer12/18/2018
This session was planned in the different location this morning. When I arrived there, I found out that it was closed due to filming activities. "Of course, they had to close this park today. I visited this place a couple of times before the shoot and planned the entire session." I was talking to myself, wondering where else I could shoot at 10 am when the sun is so harsh.
The new location was found, and after five minutes I was driving to meet my returning clients. I did a maternity session for baby Lucas' patents last April and his newborn session in May. Today, it was time for his six-month-old session. I was so happy to see and photograph them again. This Fall Photo Session has been done as a Christmas gift for grandparents. On a fine day in October, all six cousins gathered together to be photographed. Later, one of the pictures from this session has been printed, framed and wrapped. I think, this is a great Christmas gift idea!
Every single picture from this family session is my favorite. It was a joyful afternoon with a very creative mom, super adorable children and a very patient dad.
I cannot wait to see Samantha again for a spring photo session this year. This one is from last year. It was a fun session because we let her lead it. She was full of smiles for her photo session, and very busy exploring the world around her.
I took these photos last fall & you might recognize this beautiful family because I am the lucky one who has been able to photograph them for the last 4 years.
I had great time photographing this beautiful family at Pico Canyon Park in Stevenson Ranch, CA and I am so glad it all worked out!
I asked S to give 'you are mine" hug to his family. He did. Now, it is one of my favorite family photo.
What can I say about this family? I love them! It’s pretty cool when I get to photograph people that I know. We are comfortable with each other, and have a good sense of our personalities.
The choice of clothing for a photo shoot must be taken seriously, as it's a significant aspect of preparing for a photo session. While it's essential to convey your family's warm and sincere attitude during a photo shoot, well-coordinated clothing is equally crucial for its success.
One of the things I cherish most about being a family photographer in Los Angeles is our mild, sun-kissed weather, making it possible to capture holiday memories outdoors—even on the beach! Every season here offers a backdrop that inspires creativity, and holiday sessions bring a unique touch of warmth and fun, no matter the location.
I am very excited to share this family photo session, as it’s a bit different from what I usually do. This session took place in their beautiful home, where I spent a couple of hours capturing a mix of posed group shots and candid moments of Yvgenia and her gorgeous daughter.
My friends' boys enjoying their childhood.
The last time I went back to my hometown, I realized it wasn’t just the old house I missed but my childhood too. Watching these boys laugh and play brought back memories of simpler days—reminding me of the beauty of those carefree moments. Now, I absolutely believe that if I want to meet a great person on this planet I should damage that person's car.
It happened right after Thanksgiving. While parking my car in a parking lot I'd heard a scratching noise. Yes, I damaged Debbie's new car, left her a note and drove off the parking lot hoping she would never call me. She called me in couple days. I fixed her car and found out that she is a really sweet lady. She has a big family and is pregnant with her third son. I offered her a photo session and, in a three months, we finally met for this Family session in the Almendra Park.. The wind was blowing Lena's curly hair and it was so chilly that she could only able to take her jacket off for just a minute for each shot. This maternity photo session on the Ventura beach was an adventure. It was a photo shoot in extreme weather contritions. It looks like I am becoming a specialist in photographing in the wind.
As we all know, Mom is the only one that arranges the session and the one that really wants to be there. But Michael and Arseniy really surprised me. They broke this stereotype. These boys were extremely cooperative and fun to work with. Despite the wind and cold this session was filled with love and tenderness. Their family photography session couldn’t have been more picture-perfect. The late evening sun beamed through the trees, and their laughter and smiles made my evening unforgettable.
The first time I photographed this adorable family, this little lady was joyfully bouncing in her mama’s belly. Now, as lovely as can be, little Samantha is turning 8 months soon, and I can’t wait to see her grow into a beautiful young lady in the years to come. I absolutely love photographing this family and following them along their lifelong journey. |
