Ella Turns Two | Birthday Photography in Santa Clarita

Ella is two!

I’ve been photographing Ella and her big brother Eric since each of them was a newborn, so they know my studio pretty well by now. I usually see their family three times a year: for Eric’s birthday, Ella’s birthday, and again for Christmas photos.
This time it was Ella’s turn.

For her second birthday photos, we kept everything very clean with a white background and a simple black-and-white outfit. At two, I don’t expect children to stand in one place and pose for very long. We photographed her sitting, standing, smiling, and just being herself.

Eric joined us for a few photos too. I always like including siblings during birthday sessions, especially with families I’ve photographed for years. I have photos of these two together from so many different stages already.

Seeing Ella standing next to Eric now is especially funny to me because I remember photographing both of them when they were tiny newborns.

I’ll see them again at their next session, and they’ll probably look a little different all over again.
