A: Yes! Grandmas are moms, too! These mini sessions would make a perfect Mother’s Day gift for her. Q: What about dads? Can they be in the photos? A: Yes, they can. Q: I’m pregnant and just want a few maternity photos. Can I do that with a Mother’s Day session? A: Yes you can! This is a perfect opportunity for capturing this amazing time in your life. Baby bumps are welcome! Q: What should we wear? A: The simple, neutral setting of the studio will be our backdrop. Neutrals and pastels such as white, grey, tan, ivory, oatmeal, soft blues, and pinks go particularly well. You can never go wrong with clothing styles that are simple and classic. Q: How will my final images be selected? A: I will send you a link to your private gallery, giving you the opportunity to choose the photos that you want to keep. I will then retouch and send those chosen photos to you in the form of digital files.

Holiday Mini Sessions offered only once a year around the holiday seasons. I look forward to this every year because I get to see all my recurring clients while meeting lots of new beautiful families. Fall is my favorite season because I can see and photograph my favorite people two months straight. It is such a joy! I am sharing same of the images form one of the 2022 holiday mini session.   
      It was so nice to do this Halloween mini session after so many newborn sessions in a row. I almost forgot how I enjoy photographing children. I always plan on taking a lot of photos of my child on Halloween before he goes out trick or treating, but I get so busy and usually fail! This mini session is a perfect chance to make sure to capture these memories before Halloween.            I cannot wait to see Samantha again for a spring photo session this year. This one is from last year. It was a fun session because we let her lead it. She was full of smiles for her photo session, and very busy exploring the world around her.            When Alma asked me to do Samantha's Easter photo session, I knew that it should have been flowers for the background. I found this beautiful field with wildflowers and planned to photograph it at sunset.. When we arrived for our photo session day, all flowers were closed up for the night and gorgeous evening sun said us goodbye in two minutes, hiding behind the mountains. I really loved what we've had instead: beautiful, soft evening light, cute, tiny yellow flowers for a background and Samantha who was engaged in her own little egg hunt for the very first Easter. 
   
Their family photography session couldn’t have been more picture-perfect. The late evening sun was beaming through the trees. Their laughter and smiles made my evening. The first time I photographed this adorable family, this little lady was bouncing joyfully in her momma’s belly. As lovely as can be, little Samantha is turning 8 months soon and I cannot wait to see her grow into a gorgeous little lady in the years to come.
