 Fall is my favorite season because I can see and photograph my favorite people two months straight. It is such a joy!
I am sharing same of the images form one of the 2022 holiday mini session.  It was so nice to do this Halloween mini session after so many newborn sessions in a row. I almost forgot how I enjoy photographing children.
I always plan on taking a lot of photos of my child on Halloween before he goes out trick or treating, but I get so busy and usually fail! This mini session is a perfect chance to make sure to capture these memories before Halloween. I cannot wait to see Samantha again for a spring photo session this year. This one is from last year. It was a fun session because we let her lead it. She was full of smiles for her photo session, and very busy exploring the world around her.  When Alma asked me to do Samantha's Easter photo session, I knew that it should have been flowers for the background. I found this beautiful field with wildflowers and planned to photograph it at sunset.. When we arrived for our photo session day, all flowers were closed up for the night and gorgeous evening sun said us goodbye in two minutes, hiding behind the mountains. I really loved what we've had instead: beautiful, soft evening light, cute, tiny yellow flowers for a background and Samantha who was engaged in her own little egg hunt for the very first Easter.
