 When Should You Schedule Your Newborn Session?
The best time to photograph newborn babies is when they are under two weeks of age, after two weeks babies are a little harder to settle and things like colic and baby acne can start to flare up. You can contact me at any time during your pregnancy to give me an estimated due date, I will then make a tentative booking and when you arrive home from hospital with your brand new baby you can contact me to arrange a suitable time and day for your session.  Lucia traveled from Orange County to my Santa Clarita studio for her newborn photo session. Her mom booked Lucia's session two months before due date.
When you book your newborn session in advice you know you will get to have your session in the ideal time frame (7-14 days old) and not have to settle with your second or third choice photographer because I don't have space left in my schedule.
