It was beautiful Sunday afternoon when Philip and his father went hiking in Placerita Canyon.  It was a long hike that lead to a seasonal waterfall that was dry at this time of year. On the way to the waterfall they discovered  a pool of bubbling white oil.  The good thing about hiking with Dad is that you get to see things that you not normally see.
